So.
I don't really have any overarching NFL or Fantasy Football thoughts this week. If I can be real for a minute I want to say thanks for including me in this league. This was my first fantasy experience when I started in 2014 and even though I would leave Workday the following summer you all have been kind enough to include me for the following 8 seasons.
It's been cool being able to keep up with this group over the years, even if it's mostly through the narrow window of fantasy football. This league has been by far my favorite to be a part of and it's because this group makes it really fun and painless to participate.
Anyway, thanks.

Let's move on and talk about some matchups
Matchups
The Loch Ness Burrow vs KY
The Dallas Cowboys DST absolutely crushed the Vikings offensive line, and Kirk Cousins along with it. This is one of the only games of the weekend I caught a good amount of, and I've never seen a QB have so little time to attempt a pass before getting thrown to the ground. A 32 point gap between Cousins (3) and Burrow (35) tells the whole story of this matchup as Burrow secures a comfortable 30 point win.
Both teams had solid RB play and okay-ish WRs, with KYs big defensive score matched by Burrow's 20 point kicker performance.

Bye Week vs momo
This matchup would have been super close and exciting if it weren't for the TE position. Kelce went off for 115 yards and 3TDs while his opponent Likely caught just one pass for 1(!)
yard in Mark Andrews' return to the field. This massive 32 point gap was too much for Bye Week even with good games from WRs Pickens and Aiyuk.
Momo holds onto a 2 game lead for the final playoff spot and still has plenty of opportunity to move up in the seeding the next 3 weeks.

Roswell LAMARtians vs Ballderberg
What can we say about Lamar at this point? He's still a super talented QB but the massive number of injuries to his offensive weapons has drastically lowered his ceiling. In weeks 2 and 3 he looked like a league winner again and his since only broken the 20 point threshold once. Damien Pierce (8 yards on 10 rush attempts!!) and Tyler Boyd (without Chase in the lineup) were huge disappointments this week.
On the other side of the ball, Ballderberg scores big with his Tony Pollard trade, getting ~34 points from his RB and maintaining a strong TE game with Friermuth (12 pts). A big week from the Washington DST helped overshadow the disgusting score Goff put up at the QB position despite the Lions netting their 3rd straight win.

Oh Godwin He Can See vs Chipped By Billy G
In the biggest Kicker showdown of the week, Oh Godwin gets a 12 point edge scoring 28 from the position compared to a measly 16 by Billy G.
This win was absolutely necessary to keep Godwin's playoff hopes alive and his team showed up with solid games from Fields (who's hopefully not too hurt!), Deebo, and Patterson, who now owns the NFL record with 9 career kick return touchdowns.
For Billy G, this is the nail in the playoff coffin. It wasn't a disastrous week, but he needed a lot more out of Gabe Davis and McLaurin to keep this competitive. Time to start planning on how to avoid the Hen and looking at next year's keeper options.
Kelsey Lohan's Ghost vs Hazers
Despite an injury to Rondale Moore on the very first play of MNF, Kelsey ran away with this one in the WR department, with Adams and Cooper combining for 57 points. They also got a "standard" 30 point week from Mahomes who extends his 30+ point streak to 4 weeks.
A ridiculous 25 points from Hazer's kicker wasn't nearly enough to even the score in this one thanks to pitiful games from Ravens WR1 (??) Devin Duvernay and Saquon, who was held to just 22 yards on 15 carries.
With this win Kelsey steals the #1 seed in league standings as both teams try to lock in a bye week as the season closes out.

Ancient Allens vs Jets Fuel Can't Melt Steel Beams
Josh Allen had his first sub 20 point week of the season at a very opportune time as he really didn't need to do anything to push Ancient Allens past Jets Fuel.
Only 2 players on Jets Fuel's squad broke the 10 threshold and sadly there weren't any bench options that reached that mark he could have subbed in. Just an all out bad week that distances this squad from hopes of being the playoff bubble team.
Ancient Allens was carried by a very solid set of RBs (Henry, Montgomery, Singletary) who combine for ~60 points.

Pickup of the Week
Not a super strong list of buys this week. I'm giving this to Roswell LAMARtians for Paris Campbell, a WR that's been surprisingly startable since week 6 that has mostly flown under the radar.
Shameful Benching of the Week
Daniel Jones, LAMARtians. Could we really expect him to bench his namesake for Daniel Jones? I don't know but thankfully for Tyler's sanity the 13 point gap between these QBs would still have put him 1 point shy of victory.
